Debra Ann Ochoa Vasquez

Debra Ann Ochoa Vasquez was born on July 12, 1960 in Beeville, Texas to Benito and Alice Ochoa and passed away on May 5, 2017 in Colton, California. Debby worked as a Cafeteria Nutritionist at several elementary and middle schools for the Colton Joint Unified School District for 22 years. Her most recent school site, Cooley Ranch elementary, she held the position of Lead Cafeteria Nutritionist. Debby loved to go for long car rides, explore new places, and discover local restaurants. She loved the beach, Port O’ Call Village, seafood, meeting new people and making new friends. She enjoyed helping people less fortunate and felt blessed to be able to give to others. She looked forward to family get-togethers and the holidays. She also loved lighthouses, ladybugs, and all family movies and shows (lifetime channel and hallmark). Debby loved her family, friends, and her job. She lived life to the fullest and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Preceded in death are: Alice Ochoa, Mother; Benito (Paul) Ochoa, Father; Sisters Patricia and Cecilia Ochoa, and Granddaughter Varanda Vasquez. She is survived by her loving husband: Victor Vasquez Sr., her loving children: Victor (and wife Amanda) Vasquez Jr., Joesph Vasquez, and Brian (and wife Sarah) Vasquez, and her loving brothers and sisters: Paul (and wife Kyong) Ochoa, Frank (and wife Jessica) Ochoa, Sandra (and husband Steve) Aguilar, Gloria (and husband Mike) Garcia and Mary (and husband Chris) Ochoa-Morrison. Sisters in law include Erlinda and Marianne Vasquez, and brother in law George (and wife Irene) Vasquez. Grand children (all Vasquez) include: Victoria, Joseph Jr., Vivica, Angeline, Elizabeth and Antonio. God Children include: Anna Garcia, Gabriel De La Rosa, and Mindy Ochoa. Debby leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers, students, and best buddy Art Navarro. A Viewing has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill Street, San Bernardino, California and Rosary to start at 7:00 p.m., Mass will be on Thursday, May 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Preciado Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery, 900 N. Meridian Avenue, Colton, California
