If you knew my Grandma Mary, then she would’ve been one of the strongest and most loving person you would have ever met. She was smart, funny, sassy and would sometimes even wake up to choose violence with her jokes. She worked HARD her entire life so that every single person she knew would never go without, and she continued to uphold that value in her last days. I think it’s going to take awhile to get used to not being able to call and hear her voice, but I know I will see her again. We are promised that absent in the body is present with the Lord, so I have faith that she is in a better place and no longer suffering. I am so deeply honored to be one of her many legacies that she left behind. And I may not get to count down the weeks until nursing school is over with her, but I know she watching and cheering with me in spirit. Thank you Grandma for being full of love and the brightest light in our lives. I hope you are getting the comfort and rest you’ve deserved for so long. I love you
