Andrew Antonio Herrera's Obituary
On Sunday, July 24, 2022, Andrew Antonio Herrera, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 23.
Andrew, known by family and friends as “Diddy” or “Andy”, was born on August 21, 1998 to Jesus and Leticia Herrera in the city of Montclair, CA. He grew up in Ontario until he and his family moved to Fontana in 2012 where he attended FoHi and graduated in 2016. He went on to attend Chaffey College and graduated in 2019.
Andrew was a kind and tender soul with a huge heart for his family and friends. He always tried his best to cheer everyone up and make sure they were doing okay. Andrew cared deeply for those around him and always expressed his love and affection.
He was carefree, adventurous, and a total goofball. He always made unbelievable jokes and could brighten the room with his humor. Andrew was truly special and one of a kind. He liked to “live life on the edge” and did whatever he wanted without worry or caring what others thought or said of him. He always encouraged everyone to do the same because “life is too short”.
Andrew had a passion for cars, photography, drawing, and music. Those close to him knew just how much his 1999 Miata meant to him and how he enjoyed taking it for late night drives up to the mountains. Those late nights often resulted in beautiful pictures being captured. He was truly an artist in many ways.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Jesus and Leticia Herrera; his siblings, Katherine, Antonio, Juana, Jesse, and Jazmin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We love and miss you, Diddy. 23 years on this earth was not nearly enough time, but we’re grateful for the years we had you. Until we meet again.
