Andrew Jacob Rivas' Obituary
Andrew Rivas passed away on December 21st, 2019 at the age of 19. He was born and raised in Rialto until he joined the army when he was 18.
He is survived by his parents Jeanine and Fernando, his sister Alexandra, his grandparents Jennie and David, and the rest of his immediate family which includes loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Andrew was a leader amongst his peers and a very creative young man. Before joining the army he was involved in theater and many academic extracurriculars. In the army he served as a combat medic.
He enjoyed reading comic books, dancing playing with his dogs, and spending time with his friends and family. He could always be spotted listening to music.
Andrew was a loyal and dedicated friend who will be remembered for his humor, strength, and infectious smile. He was always willing to offer a helping hand to his friends and enjoyed spending lazy days in with his family.
His service will be held at the Preciado Funeral Home on January 2nd at 12:00PM, followed by graveside service at Hermosa Gardens at 2:30PM.
