Asusena S. Acevedo, known as Susie, was born on February 10, 1934, in Nogales, AZ.
On February 3, 2026, she entered into eternal rest in Fallbrook, CA, surrounded by her loving family.
Susie was the queen of her family-a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her love touched every generation and every life around her.
She is survived by her daughter Olga Lugan (Ed) of Fallbrook, CA, and her son Alex Acevedo of Colton, CA. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, who she loved dearly.
Susie is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Adalberto Acevedo, her parents Amelia Varela Soto and Jesus Contreras Soto, her son Albert Acevedo, and her siblings Arnold (Guero), Fredricko, Alejandro, Enrique (Henry), Bobby, Frances, Alicia (Guera), and Eleanor.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
