Arthur "Big Art" Nevarez, 60, of Fontana, CA, passed away on February 11, 2020 in San Bernardino, CA.
Art was born to Raul & Lupe Nevarez in 1959, in Los Angeles, CA and grow up in La Puente, CA. He attended Workman High School in La Puente, where he later graduated in 1977. Art met his wife, Helen, over 35 years ago and they have been married since 2005.
Big Art loved helping others and would give his last dollar to those who needed it. His family remembers his love for cooking and his point of always keeping the cars clean, even if it was raining.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Helen, of Fontana, CA., and their 4 children, Frank, of Bakersfield, CA., Eddie, of Fontana, CA., Melissa, of Applevalley, CA., and Leonard, of Fontana, CA. Art leaves behind 5 grandchildren.
Also surviving Arthur are his parents, Raul & Lupe Nevarez, of La Puente, CA., and his brothers and sisters, Arlene Chacon, of Upland, CA., Jr Nevarez, of La Puente, CA., Renee Espinoza, of La Puente, CA., and Jerry Nevarez, of El Monte, CA.
