Goodbye my Sistah Chie!!

You and I may not always be physically together.....but in spirit we are best friends forever!!! That is what we always say to each other!!! And we started calling each other Sistah, because your Nanay and my Nanay have lots of facial similarities. You even joked that we are sisters by two different mothers and fathers!

Yesterday, July 8, 2015....after not physically seeing each for a long time, you and I were together in a chapel. I was there in front of you....but between us, there was no hugging...there was no kissing....not even the laughter that we share when we get to see each other.

Yes, we were together yesterday! But there
was no joy...instead there was sorrow! We should have been full of happiness....but no, there was so much pain and deep inside....I was hurting!!!!

I was looking at you...knowing in my hurting heart that I will never see you again!!! We will never hug...nor kiss....or laugh together again!!! Goodbye my Sistah...the guiding light will be there with you in your journey going to the house of our FATHER!!!

Goodbye for now my Sistah....until we see each other again someday!!!!!

When I was younger, I would always go to Mama Chita's & Grandmas office after school. When I would get there, Mama Chita would always have a blanket & pillow waiting for me to take a nap. I have so many good memories of Conchita. We met at the Jet on 3rd St in San Bdno and we became friends from that first meeting. My husband and Conchita were born on Aug 3rd and we would celebrate their birthday's either at the Jet or at our house. At the jet we would both get up and try to sing. We had a lot of fun. I can truly say that she was a true friend. She was an angel here on earth and now she is an angel in heaven with God. I will truly miss her. Rest in peace my friend. Shirley
