It is with heavy hearts that our family share the passing of Edith Acosta... loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and Aunt. She passed away at a young 85 years old. Edith was born in Amboy, Ca to parents Ed Read Obituary
Auntie, We are still in shock that we will not be able to see you. Our hearts are broken. We love you so much. You have always shown us your love and support, especially after the loss of our parents. You were our mama replacement for us. Each hug warmed our hearts. We do not want this to be a reality. We will miss your beautiful smile, infectious laughter, strong family leadership and always making a gathering or trips a fun time. We will never forget our trip with you and Uncle all over Mexico. I instantly fell in love with you and your beautiful soul. We also loved seeing your beautiful sister hood with Rita. She loved you so much. ❤️❤️And I am sorry I didn’t get a chance to buy you another dog 🐶. I hope you are spending time with all kinds of animals in heaven. To hear of Aunt Edith's passing was a shock. The reality of our vulnerability on this earth makes us aware that we do not know when the Lord will call us home. Aunt Edith left us too soon. I will miss her smile and her laugh. She always made you feel welcomed, taking care of other's first. Her love for her family will help them be strong in the days ahead. Mom, I miss you so much. Our giggles, your chili, your witty jokes... how are we going to make all of those good dishes you cooked for us. We need you so much mommy. I pray morning and night that you are happy and surrounded by our loved ones. Every bird I see, every dragonfly that circles me, tells me that it is you... visiting me. There are so many little acts that I now see was your way of saying "I LOVE YOU MONCH". I hope this pain gets easier mom, and I pray you are in peace playing with Lucy.
