Fermin Rodriguez's Obituary
With heavy hearts we say good bye to our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather ,Great-grandfather, Uncle and Friend. Fermin Rodriguez Jr entered eternal rest on Saturday May 18th, 2024. He enjoyed 83 beautiful years with us all.
He was born in San Bernardino Ca. to Fermin Rodriguez and Lorenza Escobar. He later married MaryJane Ponce and had 2 children.
Fermin was a graduate of San Bernardino High School. He was a proud Army Veteran and also served as an Army Sergeant of the tank division for the National Guard. Fermin also served for San Bernardino Police as a Police Reserve. He also was involved with several non profit organizations such as The Gents Organization, Latin Society Organization and was a member of The Knights of Columbus.
He worked for Hanford Foundry and later retired from San Manuel Casino.
Fermin was a hardworking and honest man; with so much love to give all who came into his life.
Fermin is survived by his wife of 60 years Maryjane Rodriguez , son Mark and daughter Suzanne Rodriguez , 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, brother and sister Richard Rodriguez and Alice Chavarria .
A Memorial Service in his Honor will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill Street, Colton, California
