Gloria Adame's Obituary
Gloria Salinas Adame went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the age of 78. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana, California. She was born on June 29, 1935 in Robstown, Texas to Juan and Adela (Rodriguez) Salinas.
Gloria grew up in Robstown, Texas. She graduated from Robstown High School in 1952. After high school she attended San Antonio College in Texas where she received a diploma in administration.
Gloria married Roy M. Adame in 1960 in San Antonio, Texas. They had three children.
She worked as a customer service representative for the San Bernardino Water Department. She retired after 35 years of service.
Gloria served the Lord for 47 years and was a member of Sunrise Church in Rialto, California. Gloria loved her dogs and good food, enjoyed going to movies, reading and playing bingo, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents Juan and Adela Salinas; son Marcus Adame; Roy M. Adame; brothers Ramon, Hector and Carlos Salinas; sisters Josie Diaz and Mary Lou Chamblee.
Gloria leaves to cherish her loving memories to her son Mario (Phenella) Adame of Oceanside Ca; her daughter Leticia (Albert) De La Cruz of San Bernardino, CA; her brother Thomas (Barbara) Salinas of Egg Harbor Township, NJ: her sister Beatrice (Raul) Mesquias of Robstown, TX; her grandchildren Phenesse (Tony), David, Pheleene, Alexis, Enrique, Marcus, Madison, Giovanni, Julian; her great-grandchild Jeremiah; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.
A visitation will be held on Thursday May 29th, 2014 between 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Preciado Funeral Home 923 W. Mill Street San Bernardino, CA 92410. A memorial service will be held at Preciado Funeral Home 923 W. Mill Street San Bernardino, CA 92410 on Friday May 30th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery.
