Henry Gonzales' Obituary
It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of our father, Henry Gonzales, known as Kenco, who left us on January 29, 2025, at the age of 82. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Stella, and his children: Mary Helen, Henry Jr. (Pops), and Lisa Marie (Lisa G and Lalu). Kenco is also survived by two sisters, JoAnn and Jessica, ten grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Married to Stella in 1963, they enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. He earned a degree in Sociology from Cal State Long Beach. He had a career as a Supervisor at California Steel and Tube, as well as an Insurance Agent for Farmers Insurance and later retired in Real Estate.
In his younger days, Kenco loved riding his Harley Davidson. His favorite was hosting family barbecues, he enjoyed having family around and sharing laughs over golf games with his son. A passionate reader, he cherished reading to his grandchildren when they were young.
Although we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing he lived a fulfilled life and is now at peace. We will forever cherish his memory of listening to his favorite oldies. We love you, Daddy you will be missed!
