James Henry Jones was born on November 22, 1939 to Davis and Ora Jones (Henry) in Carroll County, Mississippi and passed away on October 3, 2013 peacefully at his residence in Moreno Valley, California. James was a resident of Riverside County for 30 years and employed by Delta Meat Packing as a Butcher for 38 years. James is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Erma Jones and 13 wonderful children: Kenny Price, Jeanette Denton, Reginald, Jones James, Turan Jones, Kevin Jones, Vernette Rogers, Evette Jones, Marie Berg, Robert Jones, Dianne Hamilton, Dayton Jones and Lanette Jones, 31 amazing grand children and great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents, David and Ora Jones ; as well as his brother Luis C. Jones. James will be dearly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Preciado Funeral Home 923 W. Mill Street, San Bernardino, California, with a Chapel Service starting at 3:00 p.m. , Reception to follow; Marie Berg residence at 1158 Estrella Street, San Jacinto, California 92582.
