Jessie Lopez Guajardo's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jessie Lopez Guajardo.
She was a lifelong resident of San Bernardino. She slipped away in her sleep on November 6, 2023 to reunite with her loving husband, Raymond B. Guajardo, who preceded her in death in October 2018.
Mom lived to be 96 years young and lived a happy, adventurous life with her “Hon” and her large family. She is survived by her 6 children, John (Dolores) Guajardo, Sylvia (Pete) Loza, Julianne Guajardo Martinez, Susan Castillo, Patsy (Jerry) Sanchez and Raymond (Debbie) Guajardo. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving her are her sisters Josie Hernandez; Genevieve Chapparo and brother Richard Lopez.
Services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023. Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Holy Mass at 12 noon at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 1640 N. Western Avenue, San Bernardino, CA. Burial will take place at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA at 1:30 p.m.
Following the services, a Reception will be held at the Eagles Hall, 895 E. 9th Street, San Bernardino.
