Johnnie Goodwill Warren Jr. was born October 20, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to the union of Johnnie Goodwill Warren Sr. and Veatrice Warren who both preceded him in death. He spent his early childhood & adolescent years in Palmdale, CA. In his adult years he was a resident of Pomona, CA and San Bernardino, CA. He was a faithful truck driver at JB Hunt Transportation for 18 years. He was a member of Ecclesia Christian Fellowship Church in San Bernardino, CA. Johnnie brightened up any room with his charismatic smile and good energy. He was kind, fun-loving, hard-working, very generous with anyone who needed him and was always a man of his word. Throughout his life he did his very best to exemplify & be a man of God.
He leaves to mourn his loving fiancé’ Angela Houston, his children, Johnie Goodwill Warren III (Hesperia, CA); his daughter Tonae Renae Warren, (Hesperia, CA) and Joshua Hempstead, (Upland, CA). As well as his two step-children Donald Byrd, (Apple Valley, CA) & Tanisha Green (San Bernardino, CA). Nine grand-children: Jayonne, Justice, Jamir, Amaree, Amiya, JaeVeon, Johnie 4th, Anthony & Riley. His siblings: brother, Earl Brown Jr. (OR); (3) sisters, Allena “Kitty” Daniels, MS; Norvice McCuff & Jeanette Williams, (TX), also (2) sisters and (2) brothers who preceded him in death, Veatretta Brown-Morris, Elveata Williams, Bennie Warren and Marvin Warren. As well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. On May 9, 2020, his earthly journey ceased and Johnnie straightened his King’s crown, gained his wings and God called him home. While it is very painful to separate from him in this physical realm, we know this separation is only temporary. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for all of the love, great memories, smiles, support & energy that we were allowed to exchange. Rise In Power The Great Johnnie Goodwill Warren Jr.!
