Jose Eduardo Salcedo paso a mejor vida el 17 de Mayo 2017 a la edad de 86 años. Mejor conocido como Eduardo o “Guarro”, nació como el último y único hijo de María del Refugio Carrillo el 18 de Octubre 1930. Tuvo cinco hermanas incluyendo Juana, María, Rosario, Catalina y Mercedes. Su esposa de 53 años de matrimonio, Lucia Salcedo Peña, su hijo Jesús Salcedo, su madre y hermanas lo reciben en el descanso eterno. Su vida y memoria continuara en la vida de 12 de sus 13 hijos que aún viven incluyendo Elena, Ramona, Rosario, Martin, Salvador, Luz, Miguel, Dolores, Gilberto, Enrique, Patricia, y Cuca; 43 nietos y 31 vis-nietos.
Eduardo fue agricultor desde muy temprana edad. Le encantaba andar a caballo y trabajar en el campo. En Estados Unidos paso la mayoría de su tiempo conviviendo con sus hijos y nietos. Le gustaba mirar videos de toros, disfrutar del sol, comer pastel de camote y recordar a su México lindo.
Este fallecimiento deja mucho pesar en sus hijos, nietos, familiares y amistades en México y Estados Unidos. Se llevará acabo el velorio y misa en la funeraria Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill St. San Bernardino, CA 92410, el viernes 2 de junio de 4pm a 9pm. La misa se realizará a las 7pm. Durante el tiempo que estuvo en Estados Unidos Eduardo siempre deseaba regresar a México y así será. Eduardo descansara en paz en Mascota, Jalisco como el siempre deseo.
Jose Eduardo Salcedo passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017 at the age of 86. Jose Eduardo, better known as Eduardo or “Guarro”, was born on October 18, 1930 to Maria del Refugio Carrillo in El Agostadero, Jalisco, Mexico. Eduardo was the youngest and only male of 6 siblings including Juana, Maria, Rosario, Catalina and Mercedes. He is predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Lucia Salcedo Peña and his son, Jesus Salcedo, as well as his mother and sisters. Eduardo is survived by 12 of 13 children: Elena, Ramona, Rosario, Martin, Salvador, Luz, Miguel, Dolores, Gilberto, Enrique, Patricia, and Cuca; 43 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Eduardo was an agricultural worker from a very young age. He loved riding his horse and working in the fields in Mexico. In the U.S., he spent the majority of his time with his children and grandkids. In his later years, he enjoyed watching bull-riding videos with his grandsons, enjoying the sunny days, eating sweet potato pie, and sharing stories about his life in Mexico.
His death leaves his children, grandkids, and friends with much sadness and grief in Mexico and the U.S. Visitation will be held at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill St. San Bernardino, CA 92410, on Friday, June 2nd from 4pm to 9pm. Mass will be held at 7pm. Eduardo spent his days in the U.S. dreaming of going home to Mexico and so it shall be. He will rest in peace in Mascota, Jalisco per his wish.
