Josefa Contreras' Obituary
Josefa Contreras also known to many as Frances Contreras was born on March 19, 1938 in Indio, California to Donicio and Francisca Ramirez (Barron) and passed away on April 14, 2016 in Colton, California. Frances is survived by her loving children: Diane Arce, Deborah Contreras, Joe Daniel Contreras, Stevie L. Briones, Marcos Locano and Albert Castro and was blessed with many Grandchildren and Great Granchildren. Frances is proceeded in Death by her son Benny Briones and her beautiful daughter Julie Contreras. Frances was a resident of San Bernardino County for 20 years with in this time she became a member of the Zion Assembly Church of God in Rialto, California. Frances was very strong in her faith and enjoyed passing on the word of The Lord though all generations in her family and anyone that would lend an ear. Frances was a very strong and independent women that will be truly missed by family and friends. A Viewing has been scheduled for Thursday ~ April 21, 2016 from 10:00a.m - 12:00p.m at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill Street, San Bernardino, CA 92410.
Chapel Service will start at 12:00p.m. with Interment to follow at Hermosa Garden Cemetery, 900 N. Meridian Avenue, Colton CA 92324.
