Julia Gil Villareal's Obituary
Our beloved Julia Gil Villareal, age 95, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 1, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lasaro Villareal; her daughter, Janie Astran; her parents, Jose Gil and Teresa Rodriguez; her sisters, Ruth Gil and Sally Gil; and her brothers, Paul Gil, Simon Gil, Narcis Gil, and Otis Gil.
Julia is survived by her beloved children, Antonio (Ann) Astran, Francisco (Connie) Astran, Sally (Marty) Martinez, Peter Astran, Lupe Banda, Yolanda (George) Sanchez Taylor; 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Pete (Frances) Gil; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin, TX 78702. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
