Lorenzo "Lencho" Ramirez's Obituary
Now the room will no longer echo with his laughter, since he's moved on to ever after. But those who know and love him like we do, his memory will warm our hearts 'til we go to heaven too.
Our beloved Lorenzo 'Lencho' Ramirez passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was 87 years old. He was surrounded by his loving Family and telling stories until the end, he will be dearly missed.
Lencho was born on August 10th, 1963 in Fontana, CA to Salvador and Sabina Ramirez. Lencho married Yolanda on April 9th, 1960 and made their home in San Bernardino, CA where they had 4 children. Lencho was in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He worked as a Printman for Lindeman Printing.
Lencho was a fisherman, a story teller and a jokester. He enjoyed taking the kids and grandkids fishing and shooting, going to airshows and watching old western movies
Lencho was preceded in death by his wife Yolanda, his daughter Sandra, his son Michael and his brothers Salvador 'Chavo', Ramiro 'Rami' and Ralph.
Lencho is survived by his daughter Priscilla 'Lorie', his son Arthur (Cindy), grandchildren Bobby (Annette), Maria, Michael, Arthur, Petty Officer First Class Adrian Silva, Anthony and Martin; great grandchildren Dayanara, Michael, Jonathan, Maliya, Jadey, Jasmine, Alaina, Jesse, Carissa, Jasmine, Arthur, Bobbie Rose and Lorenzo; great great grandchildren Heaven; brothers Joe 'Pochie' and Ruben (Frances) and sisters Jovita, Molly and Frances 'Panchie' (Henry). Lencho will be missed by many nieces and nephews, godchildren and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 10:00am at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery in Colton. Reception to follow at the VFW 3787 in San Bernardino
