Dear Marcus,
Thank you for being not only an incredible co-worker, but a true and genuine friend. My heart is still struggling to accept that you’re gone. I will always remember your bright smile and the light you brought into every room. Your kindness, encouragement, and warm spirit made such a difference in my life and in the lives of so many others.
I will forever cherish our conversations about life, faith, our dreams, our goals, and everything in between. Those moments meant so much to me. I will miss your thoughtful text messages, especially during the holidays, and the prayers that always seemed to bring comfort and nourishment to my soul right when I needed it most.
It breaks my heart that we won’t get to walk this journey together as school counselors like we once talked about and dreamed of. There were so many plans ahead of us.
