Maria Elena Rojas' Obituary
With deep profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Maria Elena Rojas (Nena). She passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024, at the age of 72. Though she may not have had children of her own, she was a mother figure to our entire family, showering us with unconditional love, care, and selflessness.
She is survived by her Girly Girls San Juana, Wendy, Yolanda, Marie, Marilyn and Elizabeth, her munchkins Rocco, Victoria, Dylan, Monroe and Donnie, 7 brothers & sisters and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her parents Roberto y San Juana Rojas (her world). Maria was the epitome of kindness, always putting others before herself. She was the woman who asked for nothing but deserved everything. Her unwavering dedication to her family was a beacon of hope and inspiration to us all. She spent her life caring for her parents, her family and offering any supportive need to that of her entire family. Maria kept her family together by hosting her famous NYE, Easters, Summer Lūʻaus and fall Halloween parties that brought the entire family together. Her unselfish nature and generous spirit made her the gem of our family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We take comfort in the memories of her warm embraces, the delicious food she made with so much love, her gentle smile, and her unwavering support she had for each of us. Though she may be gone, her impact on our lives will never fade. Rest in peace, dear sweet Nena. Your love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
