Nellie Cardoza's Obituary
Nellie Cardoza entered this life on Thursday, January 1, 1931 in San Bernardino, California to parents Victor & Catalina Hernandez. She passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Riverside, California.
Nellie had many hobbies and interest. She enjoyed keeping an active mind, constantly challenging herself with simple mental practices such as reading and crossword puzzles. Her reading choices were books of inspiration, most importantly her bible. Nellie accomplished much during her life including taking part in Missionary work in Mexicali, Mexico. But most important to her was her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking her favorite dishes such as meatloaf and fried tacos for others and she was always known for her extravagant Thanksgiving dinners where she would host and feed anyone who joined for the festivities.
Nellie Cardoza is survived by her loving son Chris Cardoza; granddaughter Natalie Cardoza; sisters Jovita Corona, Hortencia Chavez, Aurora Monye; brothers Pete Hernandez, Joe Romero; and a host of friends.
Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 – 2pm at Preciado Funeral Home
Burial to be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, May 26, 2017 - 10:01 staging area # 6
