Patricia Sylvia (Leon) Branham's Obituary
Patricia Sylvia Leon was born and raised in San Bernardino, CA. She attended Pacific High School and San Bernardino Valley College. Patricia worked in finance business for over 30 years. Patricia was an avid painter and loved using oil, acrylic and watercolors, taking classes over the years, giving her the creative touch she possessed. She also was a great seamstress and could perform wonders in the kitchen. Patricia lived the latter part of her life in the Forrest of Crestline, California with her husband of 20 years, Richard “Buck” Branham. They would often sit on their deck, surrounded by trees, feeding birds and squirrels all while enjoying each other’s company. Patricia was musically inclined, she played the bass guitar, piano and drums occasionally. Her and Richard would love to have “jam sessions”. In describing her life, Patricia would have said her greatest accomplishment was her children. Her favorite was Stephen Chavez, her firstborn with a calm and patient temperament just like her. Her daughter, Alesha (Chavez) Reynoso, her youngest, outgoing, explorative and strong willed, the happy opposite of her. She was the best mother a child could ask for. Always involved with school activities and life events as her children grew into adults and had children of their own. Patricia was a mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grand mother and god mother. She was so honored to play the role of mother to those in need. Patricia was the greatest grandmother, she was present at every birth, birthday, school awards assemblies, sports events, talent performances, and more. She always made herself available for pick ups and after school snacks. She taught many life lessons, the biggest was to always appreciate nature and its beauty. Grandma loved to bake cookies and take the kids to the lake; she was always sure to wear her play clothes. To say she will be greatly missed would be an understatement. The world truly lost a remarkable woman. The impact she made on our families is truly immeasurable.
Patricia is survived by her grandchildren; Marina Reynoso, Andrew Chavez, Audrey Chavez, Sean Chavez, Izzy Reynoso, Brianna Reynoso, Stephen Chavez Jr., Jeremy Chavez, Danielle Reynoso and Robert Reynoso.
Her Son in law, Daniel Reynoso and Daughter in law, Rhea Cardona.
