Patsy was one of the first women I met when we moved to Chino Hills and it's Calvary Chapel. I joined the bulletin folding ministry, and she was a part of it. She had such a sweet spirit, I was immediately drawn to her. When we were asked by a friend in the church office if we could fill a need and knit or crochet hats and booties for preemies, Patsy wanted to help but needed to learn to crochet. She caught on quickly and began pumping out beautiful little things at a rate that surpassed us all! I believe that was the seed of the Agape Stitches ministry that exists today, filling requests for thousands of items every year.
Patsy was such a beautiful spirit. Listening to her wise and loving counsel was a privilege, a treasured one, that helped me to know I had found a church home.
To those that called her "Mom", you had a rare and precious gift we all could have benefitted from. Your memories are sweet ones, mixed with your tears. Her loss is but a temporary one, as you will see her again soon in the heavenly place prepared for her by her loving Savior. Keep your eyes on the joy of that reunion. May you be comforted now.
Patsy was my precious sister-in-law, more like a sister, who welcomed me into the family 51 years ago with warmth and friendliness which never waned! We loved each other and supported each other in life and prayed for each other as we went through life's trials and tribulations. What a precious blessing she has been to me and my family and even my maiden family who loved, enjoyed and prayed for her as well. We had such good times, celebrating, cooking together and sharing especially our love of our cultural foods from New Mexico, green & red chile, home-made tortillas, stacked enchiladas with a fried egg on top, Carne adovada (red chili marinated roasted pork), Sopapillas, Posole at Xmas, Capirotada (bread pudding), Natillas (vanilla with nutmeg pudding), etc.etc. I will miss you Patsy and will see you in heaven one day. Until then, pray for us. Love you as always, your "sister", Jeannette
Patsy you were always so helpful at the Women's Care Center. I have great memories of sitting at the table with you assembling favors for events, or addressing letters. Your words were always so sweet and encouraging to the young women that came to help out. You will be missed by all the lives you touched in your 80 years on this earth! Know that you are loved greatly!

To Patsy Padilla Family,
I knew Patsy from church, she will always have a special place in my heart!!! She was very kind, loving and a gentle quiet spirit and a prayer warrior. She was always interested in what was going on in our lives and never complained about anything! She served our Lord with gladness and she will always be an example to me of the kind of person I want to be, you will be missed but never forgotten. My deepest sympathy to family for their loss!!! Love and prayers to all.
