My deepest condolences to Vanessa , Maria , Larry, Raymond and all of Pauline‘s grandchildren.
I will always remember my sisters contagious smile, laugh, and silly sense of humor. Although I moved out of state many years ago and was not able to maintain the closeness I would have liked, no matter how much time passed and how old I got, she always called me “Mijo” or her favorite word for me “Scooba”! She had this way of creating her own words and language for those she cared about and remembered words or phrases I used as a child and always reminded me of more innocent and fun time in my life. As a child Pauline always showed me love and affection and some of my earliest memories are of her playfulness with me as a kid. Those are times that I will not forget. My last day in California I was at her house (in Berdoo )and her and the kids were my last stop before I made the 1500 mile drive to Kansas.
A few months ago she called me and before we hung up she said to me, “You still have sister Mijo, and don’t ever forget that”. I never will.
You will be missed Pauline I wish you nothing but the lords blessings in your journey as you reunite with Fluff , Pop and join other family members that we have lost over the years.
Sincerely,
Ruben Salamanca
