Rafael Nevarez Esqueda's Obituary
Rafael Nevarez Esqueda was born to Rafael Nevarez Casillas and Margarita Esqueda Rodriguez on September 23rd, 1944 in the city of Durango, Mexico. Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away on April 26th, 2019 in Riverside, California.
His achievements as a soccer player, carpenter, and welder are well known among his friends and family. However, none are as incredible as his achievements as a father and provider. He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Nevarez; his 6 children; Lillian, Laura, Monica, Julissa, Rafael, and Juan, and his 5 grandchildren; Vivian, Mia, Antonio, Aiden, and Jocelyn.
He was a loving father, who besides making sure all his children had a refrigerator full of groceries, above all else, cherished spending time with his grandchildren and watching them grow.
While there will be no reception at the end of the service, all attendees are welcome to join the family at Hometown Buffet – Rafael’s favorite place to eat with friends and family.
