Rashad Jamal Budd's Obituary
The son of Rupert and Rhonda Budd, Rashad was the guy everyone wanted to be like, he was a positive example at home and during his years in the San Bernardino Public schools, where he had many citizenship awards and participated in football and basketball then graduated from Carter High School. He then carried his leadership skills to Cal-State Dominguez Hills and majored in business.
He was taught by his father to, ‘Fear no man, but God,’ he was not one to involve himself in needless conflicts. He had a calm presence in many stressful situations. So it was a shock when he was ‘taken’ suddenly by gun violence. But it wasn’t a surprise to learn that his courage allowed him to shield others when bullets where flying. He lived like a hero, motivating and elevating others constantly until his time on Earth was complete.
He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson, and friend.
