Ruben Martin Briones' Obituary
Ruben Martin Briones, 61, of Colton, CA passed away on September 13, 2025. Ruben was born on July 3, 1964 and is survived by his loving wife Wendy, children Andrea Briones, Adriana (Marcelo) Villa, Ruben Jr. (Larissa) Briones, Maria Briones, Rozz (Saul) Rios; grandchildren Koa Regalado, Ruben Briones III, Mateo Briones, Sienna Briones, and Mia Villa; parents Ruben and Irene Briones; siblings Laura Briones, Felicia Briones-Colman, and Matthew Briones. He was proceeded in death by his brother Mark Briones. Ruben was a devoted Husband, Father, Umpa, Son, Brother, Son-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, Father-In-Law, Uncle, Nino, Coach, Compa, Friend, and Lineman. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Ruben was a hard worker and always proud of his work as a Lineman for the City of Colton and IBEW local 47. He cherished the time he spent working with his Linemen brothers, especially working along side his Son Ruben Jr. He was passionate about music, DJing and sports. Ruben spent many years coaching first his children and most recently his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them on the playing field, excelling in their school work and he was always their biggest fan and supporter, he rarely missed a game or an event. Ruben was always there to offer help to his family and friends with no questions asked. Ruben loved spending every moment that he had with his family, he could often be found not far from his beloved wife, Wendy. He loved to travel with family and friends. Ruben enjoyed life, always made every moment count and he was always ready for the next adventure. His legacy lives on through his family, and the lives he touched.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Preciado Funeral Home, 923 W. Mill St. San Bernardino, CA 92410 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, with the Rosary at 6:00pm. Catholic Mass will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1106 N. La Cadena Drive Colton, CA 92324 at 12:00pm. Ruben will be laid to rest at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton at 1:30pm. Reception to follow.
