Our condolences to our 2nd Cousin -April Fritz Penn and her family. I remember Russ very well when my cousin Jackie & Russ would visit my Dad, (Eric) and us at our family home in Toronto. He was a great guy always friendly and caring towards my sister Sue & I. We are sorry we only found out today of Russ’s passing, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kay & Doug Morden & Susan Wood.
I had the pleasure of knowing him for the last 10 years or so through the Order of St Eugene. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and spent a great bit of time encouraging and supporting others in need. We spent the last couple of years working together for the OSE and it's future. He spoke often of his family and the love for them and his country. I will miss our conversations and emails.

I wanted to say thank you for being an amazing person who i considered a grandpa to me as well i was honored to have grown up with ur grand kiddos and consider your daughter an aunt to myself. I remember the last time i saw you you gave me a big ol bear hug and a kiss on the forhead and told me "enjoy your life your still young" i will forever cherish that day.
