Serenity Jenay Lira's Obituary
Our beautiful girl, Serenity Jenay Lira was suddenly taken at the tender age of 19 to be with the Lord on June 11th 2022.
Serenity, better known as “Seren,” was born January 8th 2003 to Jesse and Renee Lira in the city of Fontana, Ca where she was raised and resided with her parents, siblings, Savannah and Aiden Lira, grandmother Dorinda Chairez and cousin Colton Gomez. She graduated from Fontana High School in 2021.
Serenity was loving, caring, outgoing, outspoken and funny. She was the life of the party, the one always trying to brighten someone’s day, always trying to make others laugh, She lit up every room she entered. She was also strong in her beliefs, unwaveringly loyal to those she loved, accepting of everyone as they were and unapologetically herself. She was so full of life and love.
Serenity enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved going out and experiencing new things, making new memories, hanging out with her Aunts and Uncles, and just doing whatever she wanted in the moment. She loved spending time with her sister and brother, whether it was cheering them on at their games or skate events, taking them out thrifting or to Dave and Busters, driving Aiden and his friends from skatepark to skatepark and spending all day just watching him skate, or simply being home acting crazy, dancing and laughing with them. She was always their biggest cheerleader and was so proud of them. The 3 of them had a special unbreakable bond and love each other to no end.
Serenity was always there to be a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen when those she loved needed it. She always showed up for the people she loved the most. If you needed her she’d be there day or night. She had a heart for broken people and was always trying to help piece them back together. She was compassionate and empathetic.
Seren lived her life how she wanted to and did things her way. She didn’t care what others thought or said, she was going to do things her way and in her time. She lived her life in the moment. She impacted more lives then she knew and left her impression on everyone she met. She was loved by so many and will forever be missed.
We miss you dearly baby girl. Keep bringing us signs and showing us you’re still with us. We will never be the same without you here but we know we will be reunited with you again. We love you so much. Forever and a Day
