Shawn Tyree Burns Jr entered this life on Monday, March 23, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada to loving parents Shawn Burns Sr. & Sheila Cooley. He entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in San Bernardino, California.
Shawn was born with a physical disability which left him wheelchair bound. But that did not limit his mental capabilities. He was a talented writer who enjoyed writing his own lyrics and rhymes. He was known for having a great sense of humor, and was very joyful and friendly with all who knew him. He had earned the respect of everyone around him, earning knick-names such as “Uncle Lil’ Shawn”. He never physically walked, but he was a man who walked tall. Evidence of this was all the surgeries he braved throughout his lifetime. He never let his disability get him down, instead, it gave him the strength and the courage to be the headstrong individual his family needed him to be.
Services to be held Friday, July 7, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm at Preciado Funeral Home located at 923 West Mill Street, San Bernardino, California 92410
