Susan Carol Sween's Obituary
Susan was born on October 28, 1961 in Cambridge, MA and passed away October 20th, 2023 following a short illness in San Bernardino, CA.
Susan was a graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington, MA in 1979 and Suffolk University in Boston, MA in 1983. She was a United States Marine as a member of the Military Police from 1990-1994 and the California Highway Patrol Communication Centers from 1995-2023.
Susan is survived by her husband, David Sween of Fontana, CA; her dogs (children) Aurora, Hera and Kali; Her brother Michael (Laura) Edmonds of Dracut, MA; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Arthur and Sandy Sween, Brother: AJ (Amber) Sween, Sisters: Lori (Garry) Tinsley, Deb Burnett and Rebekah Engelkes all from Iowa. Many nieces, nephews and great nephews in MA, NH and IA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to the American Cancer Society or, as all who knew her, to the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley – this was a shelter of her choice.
As Susan, “SueSue”, “Auntie” or “Boston”, she was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
