Teresa Flores' Obituary
Teresa Flores, 85, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
She joins in Heaven, her husband Jess of 60 years, who preceded her in death last year. Left behind are her three sons, John, Andrew and Terence, three daughter-in-law’s, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and countless life-long friends.
Teresa was born and raised in Hanover, NM and eventually relocated to Indio, CA as a young teen with her family. There she met her husband-to-be and married him at the age of 23. As a housewife and mother, Teresa unselfishly donated countless hours and years assisting at the schools and working with the PTA from elementary through the high school years. She was very involved with the Scouts and involved herself with city functions alongside her husband for the betterment of the City of San Bernardino. She was also an avid bowler and actually once bowled a perfect game. She was an independent businesswoman and quite the salesperson. For many years, she sold Avon products and accomplished herself by achieving Presidents Club status. She was affectionately known as “The Avon Lady”.
Above all, Teresa was the Cornerstone of her family. Everything she did was done unselfishly for her family and with love. She was an exceedingly strong, moral, religious and friendly woman whose love and teachings will certainly transcend generations.
The viewing will be held at 4 pm and the Rosary at 6 pm on Friday, December 9th at Preciado Funeral Home in San Bernardino. Church services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, December 10th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colton, followed immediately by graveside services at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton.
