Victoria Ann De La Cruz's Obituary
Victoria Ann De La Cruz took her last breath on May 17, 2024, at the age of 60, surrounded by her daughters and son in her home.
On April 2nd, 1964, in Madera CA, Victoria was born to Mary and John De La Cruz. Known to all as Vicky, she was the 2nd youngest in a family of 9 siblings: Dolores, Raymond, Timothy, Lazarus , Edward, Monica, Joanne, and Aurora. Vicky was blessed with 5 children. Her twins Mallory & Valerie, Mary, little Vicky, & her only son Joseph. She had 9 beautiful grandchildren, Annelisa, Eric, Aiden, Brielle, Adrian, Allie, Iridessa, Aurora, and Baby Mia on the way. She also had 3 sons in law, Fernando, Ricky, and Devon. She loved them all whole heartedly. Vicky enjoyed many things beside being a mother and grandmother. She liked to play poker, dice, & being the life of the party. But the thing she loved the most was having her music playing loudly and just vibing and moving to it. Her favorite song was Hello Stranger, her favorite color was purple and she loved yellow roses. She loved her morning coffee with something sweet. Victoria was a strong, big hearted woman that welcomed all to her home with open arms. She was a one of a kind a woman that was loved by all. She bravely fought cervical cancer in her last months of her life. She fought as hard as she could but in the end she went on her own time how she wanted to. She came home to be with her family, who loved her so much, to say her goodbyes. She once said she did have few regrets but she wouldn’t change them. She learned from them, struggled from them and they made her who she was. A strong, loving, beautiful woman.
