To Andrea and the Macias Family,

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to your entire family for Frank’s passing. I did not know Frank, rather, only knew of his battle over the last few years. Andrea, whom I had the pleasure of working with over this time, had the confidence in me to share news of her father’s condition.

Although I could not do much, I did only what I could as her manager… extending a hand and try to help navigate this for Andrea at work and make it as easy as possible for her to take care of him, herself and all of you first.

I am saddened to hear the news but I thank Andrea for confiding in me… for I have learned much from this experience and this has taught me about my own compassion and empathy for others. I know this to be true, because I feel the pain of the loss of a man I’ve never met. It’s almost fitting that when the Dodgers won the World Series, one of the first people I thought of was Andrea and her father, whom I had known to be superfans.

Thank you for having me on the day of his services. I hope you endure, for him and for yourselves and for all those that care and have affinity for you.
