Frank Michael Macias' Obituary
Frank Michael Macias, 66, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in Bloomington, California after battling liver cancer with everything he had, surrounded by those who loved him. He is lovingly survived by those who cherished him: his wife, Loretta; his daughters, Andrea, Desiree, Chrisie; his 5 grandchildren, Raven, Damien, Aiden, Logan, Aaren and his fur babies “the boys” Pugsley and Mookie.
Frank was born on May 19,1959 in East Los Angeles, California just off Whittier Blvd. Growing up in East Los he faced many challenges but one stood out, battling cancer before and beating it at a young age. He went to Garfield High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Loretta. He was told he’d never had kids but together they built a life they loved with their 3 daughters (Andrea, Desiree, and Chrisie.). Frank was a professional truck driver and made a great living to provide for his family. He took pride in owning his own home and wanted nothing but the best for them.
Husband, Girl Dad, Papa, Son, Brother and Uncle he took care of his family unconditionally. He was witty and always had a good joke to keep things in good spirits. His kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness and willingness to teach you everything he knew about life experiences was unmatched.
Frank loved spending time with his family listening to music, in fact, he created playlists to hang with family for BBQ’s and card games. Loved going to games with Granny at Dodgers stadium, as a season ticket holder, fixing up his house, dancing with Granny, being a fur Dad for all his pups (Buddy, BJ, Mackie, Chuy, Molly and Pongo). He loved to watch boxing and football (Raiders) golf, fishing, going to swap meets and fairs. He also enjoyed staying up to date on the news, maps, smoking blunts, listening to the talk radio, ironing and staying pressed up.
He loved giving you a nickname here are the best ones - Lord and Savior Granny Christ, Mo, Mongee, Birdie, Tacohead, Fito and Techmo.
The impact he made on ALL our lives will forever remain. He may no longer be here physically, but his soul, spirit and memories are unforgettable. He no longer suffers and may he rest in peace. Gone too soon, Forever in our hearts! The Man, the myth, the legend, Frank “Papa” Macias!
