One of the memories that I have with my dad and mom as when we used to go to the drive-in movies back then it was double feature after the first movie I would suggest pizza when my mom would pull out the burritos Ha Ha back then we were on a tight budget with all of the kids and my dad the only one working but we still managed to have good times whether it be in front of the TV watching the circus or going to the movies one of my other memories was when we lived in Highland Park us being in our teens we had such a huge lawn we were about to mow it when my dad came out to show us how we should mow the lawn he started it and then went down the lawn he hit a rock it kicked off to the side it hit my brothers windshield and broke it he turned off the mower and went in the house ha ha later in years my dad and I would go to the horse races well we would bet hopefully on the winners one time we went they had a horse and one of the races called have the taxi waiting my dad and I would laugh about it because every time they came to return the announcer would call out the horses names and at the rare it would always be have the taxi waiting my dad used to also like to play cards and the slot machines big spender Penny Annie ha ha One of the last memories I would be sharing is when I took my dad and my mom to Laughlin to see our new house we went out to eat then we hit the casinos he had such a wonderful time he couldn’t wait to come back and visit sadly it’s the last memory that I have with my dad I love you and will be missed your son Frank

Ray / Mundo / Dad and I liked each other from the minute we met, up until the day he passed away. He was always genuinely interested in how I was doing, would always ask “how’s your mother?” “How is Ivan (our son) doing?” “What’s new with you?” We would share stories, make each other laugh, commiserate, try to understand the world, and then laugh some more.
He was adventurous, and was up for almost anything. He loves travel, and was a great travel companion.
At times, he felt underappreciated; and everyone can relate to that feeling. He also enjoyed music, sports, and commenting on how things today are not like they were when he was young.
His stories of growing up on the farm, all his early jobs and truck routes, the different ways customers would treat him, and how much he enjoyed his job was always a common conversation with him. I felt so included into his family and life.
He liked his coffee scalding hot, I have no idea how he did that!
One thing that will stay with me forever, among many things, was his absolute adoration and devotion to his wife Benita. He adored her, and never wanted to let her down, and would be genuinely hurt when he did. Maybe he didn’t show it, but I saw it, and that made him so much more human and lovable to me.
I can only hope and aspire to be as loving, responsible, interested, interesting, and appreciative as he was.
I love you Ray/Dad and always will.
I remember when we were kids our favorite thing was dad would bring hamburgers on Friday nights for his family and we spent the nite watching Ringling Bros. Circus on the TV when they were still allowed to have live animals,we had a great time, i will miss you always Dad, my Hero
