I miss you, Mom
Me trailing behind Mom to snatch a bite of an apple that had fallen from the ground. I knew I wasn't to pick up anything from the ground, least of all out it in my mouth. I think I was three. I picked up that apple and snatched a bite and was chewing and swallowing as fast as I could. Mom looked back and to my surprise her face went from the beginning of a stern look, to a smile, then outburst of laughter. I was begin to grin too until I looked at the apple and saw half a worm wiggling out from my bite in the apple!
